JULES' JOURNEY
I'm a 20-year-old girl from the Chicago suburbs who is building a dream of mine. I graduated high school early to step out and explore the Chicago music scene, and I have never looked back. I've been an avid writer (specifically poetry) since middle school and am continuing my love for words through songwriting.
I've been singing nearly my whole life. Whether it was recreational, theatre programs, etc. singing has always been my favorite thing to do. I picked up the acoustic guitar in my junior year of high school and am still learning and improving my skill level as I grow and watch other performers!
The music I write and develop means the whole world to me. I naturally write about my personal life, whether it's a situation I've been in, a feeling I've felt, etc. I tend to categorize my music into a mellow-pop/indie genre, although I am a big country/alternative music fan as well.
Ever since my 8th grade year of middle school, I have been continuously writing. Whether it's journaling, poetry, or novel writing, words are everything to me. I want to express my emotions through every syllable of each word I sing and let the listener interpret it in whatever manner they can relate to. Due to this, my music tends to be emotional and raw to encapsulate various feelings to my audience.
I started performing live in early 2024. I do as many open mics and gigs as possible to build my stage presence and confidence when performing in front of an audience. Whether it's a music festival, coffee house, bar, or restaurant, I truly love being a performer.
Ever since March of 2024, I have played over 250 festivals, gigs, showcases, open mics, etc. in the Chicago and Nashville area to showcase my original music and technique to all music enthusiasts in the area.
AARON & JULES
As of May 2025, I started playing an acoustic duo act with fellow Chicago musician, Aaron Williams. We play a wide range of cover music but tend to categorize in the country/rock genre. As of right now, we are still booking for early-mid 2026!
